Fall Bird Migration and Saw-Whet Owl Banding

Banding at the Prince Edward Point Bird Observatory can be observed during spring and fall migration, weather permitting, from April 10 to May 31 and August 15th to October 31st. Everyone is invited to come down to the observatory and watch the bird banding from 8 a.m. until Noon daily. You might see warblers, flycatchers, vireos, thrushes, kinglets, finches and raptors, among others. And in October, saw-whet owl banding begins.
